Melanie knew she mouthed off too much, but how could her mommy do this to her!? She was sorry she complained about having to be at a stupid family reunion. She was sorry she had complained that some of her older relatives smelled funny. She had tried to tell her mommy again and again that she learned her lesson and she wanted to be 19 again. She begged to at least have her dirty pants changed. What made it so frustrating was that all that came out was unintelligible babble.

All her relatives were there laughing at her predicament. When her mommy bent down to tell her that maybe this time around she would learn to appreciate her family more her aunts and cousins laughed even harder. And all Melanie could do was stand there and cry in her dirty pants.
