Friday the 13th - Sometimes Bad, Sometimes Good

by Jennifer Allison

Sometimes Friday the 13th can be bad, very bad.

February 13th fell on a Friday this year.

I had a doctor's appointment, where my doctor informed me that my biological clock just stopped ticking. There was no chance of my ever having a child.

When I returned home that evening. My husband of fourteen years, asked for a divorce. He wanted to trade me in for a newer model. I reminded him of his promise when we had gotten married. "You promised me that we would have at least four children."

His reply was. "I glad I didn't keep that promise. I only married you to get to your father's money. Now that I have it, I don't need you anymore."

So for the next month, the only thing my husband would say to me was, "When are you going to sign the divorce papers?" Finally on the 10th of March he told me, "I am giving you until the 15th to sign those papers. If you don't I will have removed from my house and thrown onto the streets!"

As with most years except on leap year, if February has a Friday the 13th so will March.

So the night of the 12th I told my husband I would sign the papers the next day.

I knew my husband would be celebrating with his newer model. So being a good person that I am I sent them a bottle of wine I had bought in a strange store in the mall.

When I arrived at my husband's mistress's apartment the next morning. I found two very hungry babies.

My special wine had worked. Just like the old wizard at the Spell's R Us said it would.

He even helped me, so that I could feed my twin daughters.

I never wanted a baby boy. So I asked for two baby girls instead.

So Friday the 13th can be bad sometimes and good other times.
