Through The Looking Glass

"Dere's gots ta be a way fo me ta gets thru. Oh pwease wet dere be a way"

Little Morgan Alexis Franks was trying to go back thru the looking glass. She'd been here for 6 months, and she was sick of it. She wanted to be a he again.

-6 months before-

Michael Franks rang the doorbell at the old house. It belonged to one of his bosses cliants. Mike was a newbie lawyer, and was asked to deliver some important papers to old Yuri Dabonovich.

"Who in the hell is that? What do you want?" asked old Yuri on opening the door.

"Sir. uh. my name is Mike Franks, and I belong to the Law firm of Capst and Rekrul. Mr. Capst needed you to have these sir." said Mr. Franks.

"Oh, your that lawyer that he told me about. Come in, please excuse my rudness."

Mike entered the house, and was amazed at all the old artifacts. Paintings, statues, masks, everything. In the center, however, of the den, was a rather ordinary looking mirror.

"You have a beautiful house sir." said Mike. "All these old things. Must be worth a fortune!"

"Ah, yes yes yes, a small fortune. Now, sit and tell me about these papers."

They spoke about Mr. Dabonovich's legal matters for about an hour, all the while Yuri kept noticing the glances towards the mirror. Once they were done with the legal stuff, Yuri asked Mike about his family.

"If you don't mind, of course."

"No, not at all. Well, my mom and dad died when I was really young, so I guess I don't have any family. My work is I guess."

"BAH!!! All work and no play? Make you an old man far to early. You need to have fun too."

Mike had heard it all before, but loved his job. He didn't even date, even though he was a very handsome man. He just smiled.

"Mr. Dabonovich, if you don't mind, I was curious about the mirror. It doesn't look like much, yet you've made it the centerpiece of this magnificent collection. Why?"

"Well, young man, it grants wishes. All you have to do is make a wish, and then walk through. Sounds crazy I know. I bought it off an old art dealer in Paris years ago for my wife. That's why it is in the middle....it reminds me of Tariya."

"Oh," said Mike as he walked up to it and silently made a wish.

'I wish my parents could see me' he said to himself.

All of a sudden, the edge of the mirror began to glow an erie yellow color. Mike steped back in fear, as did Yuri.

"Wh-wh-what is goin' on, Mr. Dabonovich? Why is it glowi......."

Suddenly, Mike felt the most overwhelming compulsion to walk towards the mirror.....and into it. Yuri screamed for him to stop, but he couldn't. Mike was up to the mirror now and reached out. It shimmered, and rippled at his touch. Mike giggled a little( a sign of things to come, yet he didn't know it yet), and stepped through.

He awoke in a crib. He tried to sit up, but was too tired from his ordeal. He did look down to see that he was dressed in a pink footed sleeper, and that his midsection felt weird. Then, blackness.

And so for the last 6 months, Mike lived as Morgan, a cute 3 year old toddler girl. She tried all the time to get back into a mirror, and her parents thought it was just so cute. They wrote it all off to preschool imagination.

So, here we find Morgan once again trying to get through the mirror, her Mommy snapping this picture of her. Afterwards, Mommy and daughter were going to the park to swing and slide, but not before a diaper change.

The End?
