Amanda was displeased with her husband. Especially with the ease with which he spent money. While she scrimped to get by on the meager household budget, he made extravagant purchases.
Like the boat.
Eddie came home one day towing a big speedboat on a trailer...with a new truck to tow it.
"But I named it for you, honey, The Amanda," Eddie told her hoping to appease her anger.
But Amanda cracked. She had had enough of Eddie's toys. She yelled. She cried. She stomped her feet. Eddie told her she was acting like a baby, and if she was going to act like one then she might as well be one. Eddie began to chant in a strange language and suddenly Amanda felt the world grow around her.
Amanda liked to help take care of daddy's boat. She especially
liked to help wax it. After all it was named after her. The Little
