Michelle

by Rekrul

It started innocently enough. A sign in the window of the large supermarket. Help Wanted. A teenager who needed a Summer job. An Application. A phone call for the prerequisite interview. Handshakes, smiles, politeness. A promise to let the teenage girl know about a decision.

The girl feels confident. After all, there is no special talent or schooling needed to bag groceries.

The phone rings. The teenage girl is told she doesn't fit the "Corporate Image". Purple hair: blah, blah blah. Nose ring: blah, blah blah. Not the right attitude: blah, blah.

The frustration and anger seethe. It's swirling within her. The teenage girl buys a book at the Mall. A book of Ancient Celtic Spells.

The Manager's name is Michelle. it occurs to the teenage girl that Michelle did not seem to be very happy. Not very relaxed. Not very comfortable in her own skin. The teenage girl thinks that maybe Michelle was traumatized during potty training. Maybe she's never been fully comfortable having a BM. Maybe that's why Michelle's so repressed. So full of herself, thinks the teenage girl. So the teenage girl decides to do something to change that. To do give Michelle another chance at potty training. She consults the book of spells. Finds one she likes. One that will allow Michelle to have a BM, without embarrassment or any Freudian extra baggage.

When the Spell is cast, Michelle returns to toddlerhood, diapers and all. Once and a while the teenage girl agrees to babysit Michelle. Just to see how the ex-manager is doing. The little girl seems very happy and never gets upset when she has a BM.
