Looking for something to make her weekend party totally unique, Alice found it in a strange new magic store at the mall. "Entertain and Baffle Your Guests with the Magic Twinning Kit," read the box, which claimed to have all items needed to reduce and restore an adult to the same age as one's child. It suggested that guests would have loads of fun guessing which was the regressed adult, and which was the real child.

An hour before guests were to arrive, Alice revealed the kit to her unmarried sister Meagan, who replied that she didn't want to become the same age as Alice's 1-year-old daughter Tina. But as she walked away, Alice unleashed the first part of the kit. Pulling Meagan from her oversize adult clothing, Alice dressed her in Tina's clothes and put her in a playpen with Tina. Meagan tried to complain, but only baby babble left her mouth. "My, you look enough like Tina to her twin," Alice gushed at her infantized sister.

The guests were amused by the guessing game. But five hours, four diaper changes and a dual bottle feeding later, Alice lost track of which baby was Meagan, and which was Tina. Worse, her guests voted a tie as to who was who. Not wishing to accidentally turn Tina into a helpless adult, Alice decided not to use the restoration part of the kit, and to raise Meagan and Tina as twins.
